Join our development team at the forefront of pioneering technologies! We design a next-generation IIoT platform that seamlessly connects sensors with the cloud. As part of our dedicated interdisciplinary team, you will contribute your software engineering expertise to strengthen our market leadership by building cloud-based solutions and enabling actionable insights from sensor data at SICK.

Your tasks:

•    Implementation of internal cybersecurity guideline (Security Development Lifecycle - SDL) during software development 
•    Communication of relevant cybersecurity topics within and across teams, as well as with decision-makers 
•    Coordination and investigation of security-related issues and bugs in existing and new solutions 
•    Conducting risk assessments for existing and new solutions 
•    Creating architecture and flow diagrams relevant for cybersecurity transparency and mitigation 
•    Ongoing monitoring and implementation of top cybersecurity practices 
•    Active participation throughout the entire development lifecycle, ensuring the necessary security guidance and actions at each development phase 
•    Implement cybersecurity features and requirements in .NET Web applications 
•    Ensuring the implementation of cybersecurity goals and tasks within projects

Your profile:

•    Proficiency in cybersecurity standards and foundations (like OWASP) 
•    Good knowledge of C# and .NET Core technologies 
•    Good knowledge and understanding of relational databases (like PostgreSQL) 
•    Fluency in English
•    Proactiveness and hands-on approach to work
•    Strong communication, organizational and problem-solving skills
•    Focus on continuous learning and professional development

An additional plus if you:

•    Have experience in software architecture and design 
•    Have practical experience with cryptography concepts (key management, TLS basics, password hashing) 
•    Have experience with compliance norms and standards (like NIST, GDPR) 
•    Have basic cybersecurity tooling literacy (like BlackDuck, SonarQube) 
•    Have experience with modern frontend frameworks (like Angular, Vue or React) 
•    Have experience in Cloud Native solutions and technologies (like Keycloak, Redis, RabbitMQ, TimescaleDB) 
•    Have experience with Cloud service monitoring tools (like Lens, Rancher, Grafana)
