IDENT GATE SYSTEM

Automatically verifies inbound goods and updates ERP in real time. Enables seamless, transparent goods movement without manual scanning.

General description

The Ident Gate System automatically identifies inbound goods directly at the loading dock based on shipping labels. The track and trace system detects the shipping labels as soon as the worker drives through the gate – without stopping – with a loaded pallet. The acquired data are compared with the available order details thanks to the direct ERP connection. A visual loading and status check indicates to the personnel whether the data matches.

The Ident Gate System has a modular structure and can be individually adapted. To round off the concept, selected identification technologies such as RFID, 1D and 2D, or even hybrid approaches can be combined with functions for measuring or classifying the containers.

Requirements for Installation

To operate the gate sensor system, the following are required:
•    Supply voltage: AC 100...264 V/50...60 Hz
•    Host computer with RS-232, RS-422, Ethernet or Profibus data interface for further pro-cessing of the read data

 

Commissioning​

The system starts up automatically after connecting the power supply. All gate components are checked for operational readiness. The interrogator and laser scanner LED displays show the de-vice status during the power-up cycle. The system is ready for operation after approx. 60 seconds.
